Located in Sagamore Beach, MA, Owners Mike Connolly and his wife Sharon began this company in the basement of their Plymouth home over 20 years ago. They have grown the company significantly from its humble beginnings into the strong regional player they are today. Currently, with 2 facilities and over 30 employees, they maintain a solid reputation for timely delivery to a wide range of commercial and residential customers throughout MA, RI, NH, CT and specialize in deliveries to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

The sale price was undisclosed.

The Buyer, Drew Gilman of Avocet Holdings, LLC. has been an experienced owner and operator of several transportation companies. The largest was NEPW Logistics which is a warehousing and trucking company with locations in Maine and Massachusetts. Since selling that company Drew has been looking for his next challenge which attracted him to this opportunity.

Drew brings a wealth of knowledge and is excited to join the Cape Cargo family. He plans to continue the success of the company and preserve the legacy of the previous Owners for years to come.
