New Bedford, MA — August 2026 — Coastal Business Brokers is pleased to announce the successful sale of two long-established Honey Dew Donuts franchise locations in Rhode Island, located at 729 Hartford Avenue and 670 Jefferson Boulevard. The transaction officially closed on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Seller was represented in the transaction by Justin Grolley of Coastal Business Brokers, who facilitated the sale and represented the Seller throughout the process.
The Buyer brings extensive experience in the quick-service restaurant industry and previously owned and operated a portfolio of Domino’s Pizza franchise locations throughout the Greater Boston area. His operational experience and background in managing multiple franchise locations position him well to build upon the established operations of the two Honey Dew locations.
Both locations have been established parts of their respective communities for many years and benefit from loyal customer bases, experienced operations, and prime real estate. The transaction represents an opportunity for new ownership to leverage the locations’ established market presence while pursuing additional growth opportunities.
