NEW BEDFORD, MA – Coastal M and A is pleased to announce the successful Sale of Lisbon Sausage Co, Inc. and the Real Estate located at 431/433 South 2nd Street, in New Bedford, MA.

Lisbon Sausage Co, Inc. has been a staple in the community for nearly a century. They are a well-known food manufacturer that provides an array of Portuguese meat products and dry goods to grocery stores and food service distributors throughout Eastern New England.

The Company’s meat products are produced under the Amaral’s brand and the grocery items under the Antonio’s brand. The Company’s most popular product is their Portuguese Sausages called Linguica & Chourico which is still produced in the traditional old fashion way.

The business was acquired by Mediterranean Greek Products, LLC on May 7, 2021. The sale price was undisclosed.

The sale included the company’s 13,000 SF facility, equipment, delivery trucks, proprietary recipes, brand names, customer list, and experienced employees.

The Buyer, Mediterranean Greek Products, LLC plans to leverage their food import/export business to continue to grow the business, expand product offerings, and continue the legacy of the company for many years to come. The Seller was represented by Justin Grolley, CBI, MBA, CMEA of Coastal M and A.
