New Bedford, MA – Kevin A. Nery, CBB, CBI, M&AMI President of The Nery Corporation is pleased to announce the brokered Sale of Capeway Adult Day Health Inc. and Capeway Transportation Services, Inc. The real estate located at 81 Welby Road, New Bedford, MA. owned by M.D.I Realty, was also sold in the transaction.

The facility, 13,000 SF on 2 acres with a day care capacity of 122, provides companionship, supervision, nursing and social support for the elderly and those with special needs. It also provides complete transportation services for its clients.

The Companies were founded by Jake A. Cosme in 1996.

The acquirer was Active MA, Inc., a national adult day care provider headquartered in Trevose, PA. Active Day also operates centers at 107 Welby Road in New Bedford and 40 Sconticut Neck Road in Fairhaven, MA.

Kevin A. Nery, CBB, CBI, M&AMI, President and Justin Grolley, CBI, MBA represented the Seller. The transaction closed on September 1, 2017 and all sale amounts were undisclosed.
